Money well spent / crunching the numbers

Our Finance and Admin team has the taxing task of ensuring that property levies are paid timeously and that there are sufficient funds in the kitty to ensure the ongoing maintenance and beautifying of all common areas and needs within the boundaries of the Estates including parks, gardens, public infrastructure, etc.

It is very pleasing to note that the efforts put in over the past few years have resulted in a growing appreciation of the work being done by the Association and this is reflected in an increase in the payment of current and outstanding levies, which has enabled the continued upkeep of the Big Bay area. In collaboration with our service providers we have been able to action a 0% levy increase this financial year to give members a levy holiday.

FINANCE ACTIVITIES

It is very pleasing to note that the effort put in over the past few years has resulted in a growing appreciation of the work being done by the Association and this is reflected in an increase in current and outstanding levy payments.

Activities include:

  • A healthy culture of paying levies has developed and is a sign that by far the majority of owners have now accepted the Association.
  • Levies in arrears have been collected, leaving the Association in a strong financial position and able to fund further improvements to our space.
